Many of you pilots might know Copenhagen - the Gateway to Scandinavia.

But did you also know that the layout of the country means that there are 3 busy regional airports at the other end of the country?

All three have both international and domestic traffic. The busiest domestic have 20 daily departures to Copenhagen!

We would like to invite you to visit these airports on June 7th. All three airports are located within 30 minutes of each other, and max 45 minutes from Copenhagen. So you should be able to visit all during the event.

However not only the big birds are welcome!

A very good free scenery!

Thanks to the "Denmark Scenery" project VFR pilots have a great opportunity to see the Danish countryside.

The "Denmark Scenery" project includes:

  • Landclass files - with roads, lakes and cities
  • Mesh - Even though Denmark is rather flat :-)
  • Many landmarks - such as windmills, bridges and small surprises all over the country
  • Detailed cities (with buildings) of Copenhagen, Aalborg and Sakskøbing
  • 8 airfields in high details
  • 5 regional airports: Aalborg, Billund, Sønderborg, Esbjerg, Værløse (Closed)

And the best? It's free!!!
