Stauning airport is located in Western Jutland close to the city Roskilde. Earlier the airport had daily flights to Copenhagen. Today the airport mostly is used for local flights.

Special features in Stauning
When visiting Stauning please notice:
- In real life Stauning has AFIS service during day-hours. On VATSIM Stauning is treated as AFIS all day.
- Runway 27 only has LLZ - No GS.
Arrival and departure
- No SID / STAR procedures established.
- Departing aircraft must climb to 600 ft before turning.
- VFR reporting points established.
